Happy Easter Friends and Family!!
On Friday our friends came over to have dinner and dye eggs.
We used the whisk method from a couple of years ago. A lot more eggs broke than I remember last time, but you know, you're just gunna eat em' anyway, right?

Easter morning came early...
I tried to keep it simple this year. A few bunny shaped pretzels, some dye free fruit sweetened jelly beans, a work book, some craft supplies, pencils, play-doh, bubbles, and of course Peeps and Cadbury eggs because you have to. And chocolate bunnies because Cade absolutely, positively, must have a chocolate bunny every year. Stuff that can be used up and not hang around and need to be put away.

Poor Cade. His top two teeth are loose. It makes biting hard...

Cade decided to put on a shirt. It did fun things to his hair...
He fixed it with a basket and a bunny. Like ya do...
Daddy went back to bed during the candy gorging. While we were waiting for him to wake up, the boys took baths and played with their basket stuff. It dawned on Reid that they hadn't received the cameras they had asked for. He and Cade both asked about them. I just said, "Hey! Aren't you happy with what you got in your basket?! Sheesh!"
When Daddy woke up and had a bowl of oatmeal, it was finally egg hunt time!
Some of the eggs were small and had jelly beans, some of the eggs were larger and had puzzle pieces in them, and some of the eggs were hard boiled and had hard boiled egg inside.

Some of the pieces had words on them. Huh...
Reid enjoyed a few jelly beans while Daddy helped Cade read the poem:
For something to use on your trip,
On a plane, in a car, or on a ship,
You won't have to look very far,
Look behind the building where Daddy keeps his car!

The cameras have lots of different modes and frames you can add as well as animated ones for when you're taking video. They also have three little games to play. Reid said, "It's just like an iPhone!"
Cade has already started taking pictures for his food blog. I told him all he needs to do now is learn how to read...
Later on in the day, we went for a car trip. The boys took some great pictures!
