Snow in Janurary and Tents in March...

We had a pretty good snow back in January.  We were snowed in for a week and the power went out for a few hours.  Good stuff...  But the boys loved every minute of snow time.  To the extent that if even a single errant flake swooshes by they're begging to run out (shoes or no shoes) and play in it.

This morning I could hear the boys building something while I dozed, dreaming of coffee and leaky roofs.  (Actually, in the dream it turned out that the roof wasn't leaking, but someone had just left the skylight open...)  The coffee really happened...  With cream.  Anyway, turns out they had constructed three "tents" of various sizes all around the house.  This one is the biggest and the one they've been playing with the most.  These pics are of "tent" mode.  Currently, it's a castle with proper fortification, a moat, and a bridge.  Reid is a knight named "Sir Knight Reid" and Cade is "The KING!"  It has also proved to be a lovely place to eat this morning's oatmeal.  I'm hoping for rocket ship by dinnertime...
