From Snow to the Tropics

Literally... when our cab came the morning of the 3rd, it was snowing.

When we arrived in Mexico, it was beautiful. This is us on the shuttle bus from the airport.

This is the view from one of our three balconies. We had an amazing suite.

On our second day they had a lunch for the whole company and then Dada went to Wally World and bought some food to stock the freezer and also some goggles for our little scuba diver. He was happy.

Our first visit to the beach.

The first night they had an opening dinner and the boys loved to dance. Reid is a hoot. I think he has been studying Michael Anderson. And Cade can of course dance circles around Reid. =)

On the 5th Brandon went on a dune buggy tour. He left the camera with me in case the kids did something indescribably cute. You will note no pictures for this day...

The next day they hosted another lunch by the pool and then took us all to dinner at Mi Casa, a restaurant off resort.

Cade likes to eat salt and Mama likes to let Cade eat salt at restaurants if it means he's not up running around like a maniac.

The next day there was a "circus." They had a clown and jugglers and a stilt walker. The boys liked playing with the ball pit and inflatable slide they had to occupy the kids before the show. Cade only made it through the first 45 minutes of the show and really only watched about 20 before he asked to leave. He did like the juggling, the stilt walker, the clown, and the "marionette." He did not like all the audience participation stuff he wasn't old enough to do.

Reid was fine in this dang pit until I stepped across the pool to take a picture.

He got over it.

Dinner at Tomatoes, an onsite restaurant where we had quite a few dinners.

The pool we spent most of our time in. I think this was the day Brandon went on the boat. Again, no pictures. (At least on our camera, maybe we can scam some off somone else's.)

Reid fell into the coffee table and bashed his lip a good one. He was just standing there and then apparently he suddenly became overwhelmed by gravity. Tricky stuff that gravity.

The last day Brandon went atv and horseback riding. We got over the whole keep the camera for the kids thing.

The company threw us another dinner, this time on the beach. There was a surprise live musician named Jonathan Coulton. Apparently, he wrote some music for a game called Portal. He ended up being a very good choice.

Cheesecake is goood.

Dancing to Jonathan.

Posing with Jonathan.

And so we're back home. The next day was Easter. I'll post some of those pics later. Reid had a fever on Monday and Cade got the stomach flu Tuesday. Nothin' like spendin' a little time on a plane.
