Fair

Went to the Evergreen State Fair today. The boys had a great time! Don't have pictures of everything they did, but here are some of the highlights.

Cade rode the carousel with Dada, and a roller coaster and swing ride all by himself. (Apparently the swing ride used to be the property of a certain deceased pop star once upon a time, fancy shmancy)

The boys saw cows, pigs, chickens, bunnies, ducks, geese, some quail, a pheasant, turkeys, petted a chicken, saw some goats (Reid learned how to say "baa") and watched a sheep being sheared, saw dogs competing in a costume contest, were given wool to take home to make a felted cat toy, rode tractors, ate chicken nuggets and french fries, drank peach lemonade, ate cotton candy, touched ostrich egg shells, and stayed awake all the way home! Reid kept saying "baa" and doing the sign for "more" all the way home. Cade asked if we could go back to the "farm" when he woke up in the morning.

Reid was too small to ride these, but he really wanted to. Cade rode them for a long time, but we only took video.
